Material List

We are aware that textile production has a negative impact on the environment, but we are striving to minimise our footprint by using more responsible materials. At Envii, we are committed to follow the necessary steps to constantly improve our approach to materials and production.

ORGANIC COTTON
Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers – and no genetically modified organisms. This is better for the environment as it leads to improved soil conditions, lower greenhouse gas emissions, stronger biodiversity and better health for the farmers. Choosing organic cotton means less climate impact compared to conventionally grown cotton.

VISCOSE
Viscose is a fibre produced from wood. We use viscose fibres from EcoVero/Lenzing. The fibres are derived from sustainable wood and use up to 50% less water and have the lowest environmental impact.

RECYCLED WOOL
Recycled wool is made from textile waste or unwanted/thrown away garments. Using recycled wool has less of a negative impact on sheep, and the environment too. To obtain a superior quality of recycled wool, the yarn is often spun with recycled polyester to create longer fibres.

RECYCLED POLYESTER
Recycled polyester is often made from used PET bottles, leftover material from production lines or used polyester textiles that have been spun into new fabrics.

RECYCLED NYLON
Recycled nylon is often made from used PET bottles, leftover material from production lines or used polyester textiles that have been spun into new fabrics. The production of recycled nylon uses far less resources than virgin nylon and has many environmental advantages as it is made from pre-consumer waste and materials, such as industrial fishing nets.

RECYCLED POLYAMIDE
Recycled polyamide is often made from used PET bottles, leftover material from production lines or used polyester textiles that have been converted into new fabrics. The production of recycled polyamide uses far fewer resources than virgin nylon and has many environmental benefits as it is made from recycled waste and materials such as industrial fishing nets.
